In this historic home we transformed a cramped, 269-square-foot kitchen into a more spacious and functional space that honors the clients' artistic sensibilities. By repositioning the range and adding a larger window above the sink, natural light floods the room. The cabinetry blends painted and stained oak, with glass doors showcasing the clients' cherished collectibles. Terracotta colored tile anchors the range, and a soapstone countertop with scalloped detail adds traditional charm. An appliance garage and small desk area enhance function, while William Morris wallpaper ties the design together, reflecting the clients' unique blend of history and personality.
